This is the same VMT per Gas Price chart as before except the reduction in VMT's isn't as rhetorically pronounced. I wish people were less beholden to their cars as well, but it won't happen if we're fudging the story. If we're going to exalt in a 5% drop during one particular year, why don't we also talk about the rise in VMT in the first 6 years of the graph while gas prices were spiking.
