Leftist Libertarianism = Liberaltarianism

I have confessed that I am what I would consider to be a leftist libertarian and that I also believed this to be ordinary amongst the wave of Millennials that helped sweep Barack Obama into office. Despite "economically permissive" seeming to trend more republican, my guess is that within this cohort this actually is suggestive of a return to a freer and fairer market, not the poser of a free/fair economy we have today.

Now? It is mapped.

This is only one of many many many interesting graphs at okcupid.

What I find so revealing about this political graph by age is the influential nature of the preceding years. I'll just say it confirms my previous suggestion that one generation, when you get to the heart of it, is more reaction to the (possible excesses of the?) previous generations. In some ways, it also confirms a cyclical nature to generational consciousness, but when the fourth dimension of time is applied you begin to see more of a spiral.

History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.
